is an incredible new partnership created to bring about a strong and sustainable regional and local food hub. Creating vibrant local food companies, supply chains, and access to ensure affordable, healthy, local food to Colorado Front Range citizens are the top priories of the project. The Local Foods Campus positively impacts the community through education, farming, food distribution and food production. We all need to eat, and the Local Foods Campus will inform and educate as to the delicate interconnectedness of food, community, economy, and the environment.

As a group, we have decades of experience in the food space and local food space in farmers markets, to organic farming, to retail operations, to food production, to manufacturing. Beyond the initial team, we are creating an inclusive network of producers, farmers, non-profit organizations, local food leaders, community leaders, governmental agencies and organizations, volunteers, and much more. To make and effect positive change in the local food space, we understand that many stakeholders must be included. To achieve that, the leaders of each aspect of the Local Foods Movement are teaming up with us to make the Local Foods Campus a reality.

The Local Foods Campus will be an all encompassing local foods destination point for the Colorado Front Range. Located on the Historic Shoenberg Farms property in Westminster, Colorado we are binging new life the historic farm buildings.

The Full-Scale Food Processing and Packaging Facility, will create a state of the art facility for local farmers, food artisans, and producers to craft local foods and products of the highest quality.

Office Space, both physical and virtual, will be available to the many varying groups, non-profit organizations and others dedicated to the success of the local food movement. Bringing all of the key players in the industry together under one roof will stimulate and help amplify the success of the industry as a whole.

The Local Food Company Accelerator and Incubator will provide local food companies access to capital and capital formation expertise so desperately needed in this industry, in addition to opportunities to work with nationally recognized industry leaders in marketing, advertising, business strategy, distribution avenues, and much more.

The Educational, Teaching and Community Outreach, will educate the next generation of food entrepreneurs on topics from farming to the culinary arts. We are currently working with several educational groups including: city and county school organizations, both public and private; colleges and universities; and local organizations focused on the importance of local food.

The Local Foods Retail Center will display the complete process of the local food chain. From the greenhouses on the campus where food is grown, to the shelves and refrigerated areas, the Retail Center will be your destination of choice for all things local.

We want to give you the greatest insight to your food selections possible. With the very rigorous transparency requirements we place on all of our producers, we strive to connect you directly to your food and community through our “truth in food” program. You will know exactly where your food came from, right down to the farm it was grown on, the farmer and farming practices utilized to produce your food, and detailed explanations of each and every ingredient used! We understand that knowledge is power, and we want to empower you with all of the information necessary in making the vital food choices to provide you and your family with the nourishment of healthy food. Our Truth In Food program is our commitment to you and your family, our community, our environment, and our shared health.
